Project 1:
A Lovable Straw-bale
This adorable little straw-bale house is in the heart of Bayfield. It has a very practical and comfortable layout, including 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath and 1 3/4 bath, and a porch. It was designed to achieve economy of construction and maximum energy efficiency. It is not unusual that the gas bills of this house are lower than that of many apartments. It takes perfect advantage of solar gain in the winter, while in the summer, the roof overhangs and window header heights are such that the sun is blocked.
Project 2:
Frame with log trusses and timber accents
This is a project was a feat of both engineering and construction. We are particularly proud of this one, and display pictures of it in our office lobby. We worked with one of our favorite local builders, Larry Barnes, in the construction of this residence.
Project 3:
A Custom Country home with Decorative timber trusses
This is a recently completed project that is nearing its final move-in date. We will be updating the pictures to show how the final project came out. Stay tuned!
Project 4:
A proposed kitchen remodel
This project was a proposed remodel and update to an existing house. We did extensive design work on this house getting it to conform to the needs of the client. This included drawing the entire house as well as producing a few different concepts and renderings for the remodel.
